Jessica has a strong background in Social Work and Early Childhood Education, along with an incredible passion for supporting children, youth, and families experiencing foster care. Her journey began as a Social Work Intern, where she witnessed firsthand the challenges that families experience while navigating the system. From mentoring high school students to supporting families during tough times, Jessica has always been dedicated to walking alongside those who need support.
Jessica joined Chicago Angels in August 2020 as a Love Box® volunteer. During the pandemic, she noticed families she knew were struggling and felt called to support children and families experiencing foster care. By working with a family of two children in foster care, alongside five biological and adopted children, she saw how essential community, love, and support are in setting up families for success. Her Love Box® family later took in three more children, and Jessica’s commitment to walking alongside them has only deepened her passion for this mission.
Jessica believes that together, we can show up and walk alongside children and youth experiencing foster care, creating a support system that helps change lives.
