Heather joined the board in 2025 after retiring from an 18-year career in the non-profit sector, where she served organizations such as the St. Baldrick's Foundation, Neighborhood Food Pantries, and the West Suburban Humane Society. Prior to that, she spent 20 years in corporate America. Heather has a deep passion for helping children in foster care, having adopted her two oldest children from the foster care system.

She resides in the Chicago suburbs with her husband and their dog, Dakota. Heather is the proud mother of three children and Nana to five grandchildren. She is excited to represent the Chicago Angels and the children they serve.
