LISA HOLUBARBOARD MEMBER Lisa lives in north suburban Cook County with her husband Brad, their three sporty children, and their lovable lab mix dog, Cruz. Lisa is a partner at Irwin IP, Chair of the Firm’s Trademark Practice Group, and Head of the firm's People Operations. Lisa began her career in big law, but after more than a decade there, she decided that a small law firm better aligned with her professional and personal goals, joining Irwin IP within three months of its founding and helping to build it from a three-person start-up to the highly regarded mid-sized boutique firm it is today. When not at work, Lisa enjoys watching her kids play a vast array of sports, reading for one of her three book clubs, and volunteering in her community. Lisa is the Secretary of the Chicago Chapter of the Coalition of Women’s Initiatives in the Law, serves on the Programming Committee for the same chapter; she chairs the annual School Service Days Committee for the Academy at St. Joan of Arc, an event for which she coordinates a separate community service outreach activity for each grade K-8 as part of the school's service learning program; and she serves on the Athletics Committee for the Academy at St. Joan of Arc, maintaining the Athletics Handbook and working to ensure a positive and inclusive athletics experience for all students. Lisa is pleased to have joined the Board of the Chicago Angels because supporting parents providing foster care and children living in foster homes is so vitally important to the development and growth of so many.
